Winning Article: How to Obtain Self Love
The most powerful generator of self-love is your soul. Your soul is
vast, unknowable, intelligent, comprehensive and visionary in its
grasp of your life. Your body, right now, is the perfectly imperfect
creation of your soul. Your soul loves your body and loves you. Ask
your soul to increase your experience of self-love.

Bring yourself to an inner place of calm and quiet by taking a few
deep breaths. Focus upon your physical heart and be aware of your
heartbeat.
As you take a deep breath go into the doorway of your heart to
communicate with your soul. Ask your soul to love you. Ask to
experience the warm, radiant blush of the sweetness known as self-
love. Bask in it, just as you would bask in the warmth of the sun.

Offer up any doubts of your worthiness to your soul and feel those
doubts melt away. Intuition is the voice of the soul. Ask your soul
any question about your life you wish. Wait for the answer.

When you feel down and your self-esteem is low. Embrace the feeling
and tell yourself these feelings are a memory and do not belong to the
here and now. Take a couple of deep breaths and feel your heart
again. Ask your soul to vibrate those feelings out of your energy
field. Put one hand, either one, on your navel and the other on your
heart, relax, release, and surrender the past into the present moment.

You belong to the inescapable embrace of God’s abiding love. Your
heart beats within the heart of God. You receive divine assistance
simply by asking.

For those of us with well water, the minerals and hardness of the water can build up residue in the filter and block the flow of water into one’s washing machine. Allowing the water to trickle for any length of time increases your electric bill and is extremely time consuming to do one wash.

Simple trick and good for the environment: once a week add 2 tablespoons of baking soda into the washing machine water-a bonus- brighter clothes!

Together we can set ourselves on a greener and more balanced path.

About Beth & George:

Beth was raised in the small Massachusetts town of Groveland and has raised two beautiful daughters who are now in their early 20′s. Since she was a young child she has always had a creative and entrepreneurial spirit and this continues. She has owned two brick and mortar retail gift shops and has a strong background in medical insurance and management these areas have been dominant in her working life. Raised by parents who have always had a conscious awareness about the environment and recycling for Beth becoming an active participant in playing a role to help guide others to do the same and make a difference seemed to be a purely natural progression to her life’s calling. Throughout her childhood until her high school graduation; Beth was fortunate to spend her entire summers at Nickerson State Park in Brewster, MA camping, further instilling in her a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of all that surrounds us, and the need for its preservation.

George has a passion for nature and our earth. As a young child he was raised to deeply appreciate all that was around him and he developed the deep respect he has for our planet, which has only become stronger in his adult life. Patient, open and friendly George has an approachable way about him that others relate to with ease. Being raised by a father who had served in the Air Force for 22 years who was also an outdoor man, and a mother who often had him helping in the gardens, George learned a lot about the land and caring for it throughout his formative years. Having been surrounded by people who were civic participants and caring in their nature, George has wonderful leadership abilities and has utilized these skills, in coaching sports and working with disabled children.

In February 2010, Beth and her fiancé George April formed their business How Green R You. With a focus on bringing awareness to the need for greener ways of living and conducting business, Beth and George work to teach individuals and businesses how to go green, and they offer those they reach practical and affordable approaches to achieving this goal. They have aligned their business with strong organizations which share the same goals and principals and have sought out products to offer as alternatives to those that are harmful to our planet. It is a mission, but more so a true passion for both Beth and George to truly bring about positive change in the way we deal with waste at both source and municipal levels. There is no better quote that they are aware of that defines the mindset put forth to define their vision of their business than a quote by David Orr “When we heal the earth, then we heal ourselves.”
