Wendy Fachon of StoryWalking Enlightening Children

Netwalking brings youth and career professionals together to network and share ideas, skills, and experiences. Creative and productive information exchange is facilitated while walking along a beach, hiking through the woods, or strolling around downtown.

Netwalking allows youth to ask questions of experts from diverse career paths, both in profit and non-profit fields. It gives small business owners a comfortable venue to informally interview and identify suitable student candidates for educational internship opportunities.

It’s a WIN WIN scenario, as Netwalkers work together to achieve the common goal of a healthy and economically sustainable community and world for future generations.

A graduate of the Amos Tuck School of Business (1985) at Dartmouth College, Wendy Nadherny Fachon has worked in various strategic planning, manufacturing, marketing/sales, and product management positions. More recently, she served as Marketing Manager for Brewster & Shuster Associates, an established Providence firm specializing in group health benefits and financial planning. Through this rich experience Wendy evolved into her current role as a Health Economist and Storywalking program designer and facilitator, and she credits her real education to the school of Life.

Tom Zuba is a grief guide, author and inspirational speaker. Tom’s 18-month-old daughter Erin died suddenly in 1990. His 43-year-old wife Trici died equally as suddenly on New Year’s Day 1999 and his 13-year-old son Rory died from brain cancer in 2005. Tom’s intention is to transform the way we “do grief” worldwide. 2012 is a year of expansion. He is producing two ReNEW Retreat and Conferences ~ June 2012 in Chicago and November 2012 in Scottsdale.
